PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS (ACEPRD, UNIVERSITY OF JOS)


 
The Africa Centre of Excellence in Phytomedicine Research and Development (ACEPRD) University of Jos, Nigeria invites suitably qualified applicants from Nigeria and the West African sub-region to apply for the studentship support program for both Masters (MSc) and PhD programme. The MSc/PhD programmes supported by the Centre are in the various departments listed below. In order to ensure adequate students’ welfare, a studentship support for the specified courses under the Centre’s purview has been provided. See the students’ handbook to know more about the studentship support.

Note that the Centre does not provide residential permit/visa fees. Prospective foreign students are to be responsible for obtaining their resident permit/visas to Nigeria and should visit http://www.immigration.gov.ng/ for further information. For VISA renewal, Students are to write to the Registrar, University of Jos through the Centre Leader.

GENERAL GUIDELINE

  • All interested applicants for ACEPRD sponsorship must be postgraduate students of University of Jos. Kindly visit https://mis.unijos.edu.ng/ for application into University of Jos.
  • All interested applicants’ research projects must be phytomedicine-related.
  • Application is open to students admitted into any of the various Departments listed above.
  • Students on ACEPRD support are expected to respond to a survey via e-mail and/or telephone call to them after registration.
  • Students who do not meet the set conditions will not qualify for ACEPRD support.
